Advance |
|
It is thanks to the hard work of Linda Scotson and her dedicated staff at The Advance Centre that I have made the progress I have. The therapy that my Mum and Dad learn when we attend here has allowed me to do things that the NHS said I wouldn't and I have not developed a lot of the problems the NHS said I would. If you want to help raise the funds that I need to keep attending Advance then please visit www.justgiving.com/aidencox. |

Northampton Sailability |
|
Northampton Sailability is a great place where I am learning to sail. They have a range of boats and I go out on Pitsford Resevoir with an instructor and learn about dinghy sailing.
At the moment I cant do a lot of the physical work but I do hold some of the sheets (this is sailing speak for ropes) and I taking the oportunity to learn as much of the technical stuff as I can.
The volunteers are great and are always helpful so if you know disabled person who would like to sail or just take a trip on the water in one of the Long Boats then get in touch with them. |
